Fujifilm Medical Systems has signed a 10-year PACS contract with the U.K.'s Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust.
The deal is worth £3.3 million (3.85 million euros), and covers the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital's main site, Cromer Hospital, and the Radiology Academy. It includes installing 77 workstations, and incorporates all imaging modalities, including CT, computed radiography, mammography, orthopedics, nuclear medicine, and dental.
The installation is due go live in January 2012, and 30% overall efficiency gains within radiology are anticipated by 2013.
