Week in Review: How Berliners use ChatGPT | Coronary AI roadmap for Europe | Image quality in breast imaging

Dear AuntMinnieEurope Member,

There's much discussion right now about the potential clinical applications of ChatGPT. For instance, does the AI tool have a role in helping to prepare patients for imaging exams and increase their understanding of reports?

To find out more, we checked in with two nuclear medicine physicians at the world-famous Charité in Berlin who have experience in this field. Don't miss Liana Gruenberg's video interview.

In another exclusive interview recorded at the Charité, Prof. Dr. Dr. Marc Dewey explained how AI can improve the identification and analysis of vulnerable or high-risk atherosclerotic plaques in the coronary arteries, leading to advances in the treatment of coronary artery disease.

Meanwhile, Dutch researchers have found that even after a low-dose injection of superparamagnetic iron oxide tracer, iron remnants stay behind in breast tissue and disturb all MR images. However, they observed no such effect on contrast-enhanced mammography images.

In addition to being president of the U.K. Royal College of Radiologists, Dr. Kath Halliday is a top pediatric radiologist. At last week's Arab Health congress, she gave a visionary talk about the future of imaging of children. Don't miss our news report.

The German Roentgen Society created a Diversity Group three years ago. In a new podcast, Prof. Dr. Bettina Baessler and her colleagues discuss the group's past milestones and future goals.

Looking ahead, our ECR build-up begins in earnest next week. Log back to our homepage for regular updates on the congress, which begins in Vienna on 28 February.
