GE Healthcare and Amazon Web Services have joined forces on a cloud deployment of GE's Edison True PACS software at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Birmingham, U.K.
The installation is the first in the cloud for Edison True PACS in Europe, according to the vendor. GE said that the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital will also be using its Edison AI Orchestrator to access a curated selection of apps from GE and other companies.
