Sectra has signed a seven-year contract to provide imaging services to Amsterdam UMC, one of the largest healthcare providers in the Netherlands that handles about 350,000 exams per year, the vendor has announced.
Under the contract, Sectra will provide business analytics and other imaging services to the radiology and nuclear medicine departments at the Amsterdam Medical Center and VU University Medical Center, the two hospitals that comprise Amsterdam UMC.
Radiologists at the facility will use Sectra software for both reading and reporting. The deal will also enhance collaboration between the two hospitals, which merged in 2018 and have yet to consolidate their radiology and nuclear medicine IT systems, according to the company.
Sectra said it signed the contract with Amsterdam UMC in September.
