Computer-aided detection (CAD) and radiation therapy firm iCAD has inked eight contracts from hospitals around the world for its Xoft electronic brachytherapy system for early-stage breast cancer treatment with intraoperative radiation therapy.
The contracts include four systems in Bulgaria, two in Taiwan, and one each in Turkey and Australia. Outside of the United States, 23 centers are treating patients with the Xoft system.
