Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Europe Governing Council announced that three vacancies are available on the council and it is seeking nominations for the positions.
The positions are for a three-year term to begin on 1 July 2015. Nomination submissions must be received no later than 31 May 2015.
For each nomination, the council must receive the following:
- A letter from the individual who is submitting the nomination, detailing the reasons for the nomination, and describing the nominee's potential contributions to the council and HIMSS
- A current curriculum vitae (CV) or short biography of the nominee
- Information about memberships, affiliations, volunteer activities, etc., in the field of e-health and other relevant fields that can be provided in the letter, in the CV, or on a separate sheet of paper
- Proof of HIMSS membership, including the membership number
