Radiation oncology firm Elekta has received planning permission to build a new Elekta Center of Excellence campus building in Crawley, U.K.
The new facility will be built next to Elekta's existing site on Manor Royal, serving as a local, regional, and global radiotherapy community resource, according to the firm. The multimillion-pound facility will host events for both students and experts, Elekta said.
Work on the site is expected to begin over the next few months, with the opening scheduled for 2017.
