Extedo has signed a contract with the Ministry of Health of Oman to review and validate a program for pharmaceutical companies.
The regulatory affairs company will validate, import, and review electronic submission information sent by pharmaceutical companies on electronic media, such as CDs or DVDs.
Extedo's Universal Reviewing System (EURS) currently is used at the European Medicines Agency and associated European national competent authorities (NCAs), as well as authorities outside of the EU, including Swissmedic, Saudi FDA, and MCC South Africa.
The Omani Ministry of Health is adopting EURS as part of a program to modernize infrastructures and streamline operations to meet current international regulatory requirements.
