The British Journal of Radiology has released a series of new articles devoted to forensic imaging.
Articles in the latest issue (BJR, April 2014, Vol. 87:1036) include overviews of topics such as postmortem MRI as an alternative for nonforensic autopsy in fetuses and children, adult postmortem imaging in traumatic and cardiorespiratory death and its relation to clinical radiological imaging, and advances in postmortem CT angiography. An original article from Swiss authors focuses on identifying methamphetamine drug mules using digital radiography.
This series was put together by Dr. Giuseppe Guglielmi, professor of radiology at the University of Foggia, Italy, who has also written an introduction to the issue.
