Radiation therapy firm RaySearch Laboratories has been awarded a contract in the U.K.
RaySearch will supply its RayStation treatment planning system to Tayside Cancer Centre at the Ninewells Hospital & Medical School in Dundee, U.K. Ninewells will be the first clinical installation of the RayStation in the U.K.
The radiotherapy department at Ninewells will install the RayStation to serve as its treatment planning system for conventional 3D conformal radiation therapy treatments and more advanced treatments, such as volumetric-modulated arc therapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy.
