Advanced visualization firm Vital Images was selected by two university hospitals in Saudi Arabia for its software.
King Fahad Hospital in Jeddah and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh selected Vital's Vitrea Advanced software, which provides 2D, 3D, and 4D images for applications, addressing specialties such as cardiovascular, neurovascular, and oncologic imaging.
The software can also be customized with Vital's clinical applications and offers integration and interoperability with PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, the firm said.
The sale was made by Attieh Medico, Vital Images' distribution partner for Saudi Arabia. Vital Images is owned by Toshiba Medical Systems.
