Healthcare IT firm Sectra reported gains in its fourth-quarter and year-end results for fiscal 2013 (end March-31).
Net sales in fiscal 2013 increased 3% to $122.5 million U.S. (98 million euros), compared with net sales of $119 million U.S. (95.2 million euros) in 2012. Operating profit in fiscal 2013 rose 9% to $12.9 million U.S. (10 million euros), compared with $11.8 million U.S. (9.4 million euros) for the previous year.
In the fourth quarter, Sectra's net sales increased 4% to $37.2 million U.S. (29.8 million euros), compared with $35.8 million U.S. (28.6 million euros) in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012.
Sectra credited long-term customer contracts in the U.K. and Sweden, which contributed to order bookings, and increased business in the U.S. for the fourth-quarter and year-end results.
