GE Healthcare has named a new general manager for the U.K. and Republic of Ireland, as well as a new manager for its European Life Care Solutions business.
Karl Blight has 15 years experience in the firm, and has held a number of positions in ultrasound, corporate accounts, and CT. His most recent role has been general manager for molecular imaging for GE Healthcare EMEA and Europe. He will oversee all GE healthcare modalities in the U.K. and Republic of Ireland.
His predecessor, Bettina Fitt, has been appointed general manager for GE's Life Care Solutions business in Europe. Prior to joining GE, Fitt served with Medtronic.
