Berlin symposium set to focus on ultrahigh-field MR

The second annual Scientific Symposium on Ultrahigh Field (UHF) Magnetic Resonance will discuss the modality's clinical relevance and also its future.

The symposium, held 24 June at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin, will foster explorations into ultrahigh-field MR and initiate local, regional, national, and international collaboration, according to the event organizers.

The symposium will comprise four sessions, with each balancing technical developments and clinical applications, the organizers said. In addition, there will be a poster session and technical exhibition.

And for sports fans, the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup opening match, Germany versus Canada, will be held in Berlin on 26 June.
