Speech recognition and software developer Nuance Communications will release its cloud-based Healthcare Development Platform for use in international markets.
Available in 23 recognition languages, the platform will allow third-party developers to incorporate Nuance speech processing technologies into a wide variety of healthcare applications, according to the vendor.
Nuance said it would show a preview version at upcoming healthcare conferences in Germany, France, Sweden, and Hungary. The full platform will be introduced for international markets by the end of 2011.
