Siemens Healthcare of Malvern, PA, said it has won an installation of its Symbia S dual-head SPECT system at a U.K. hospital system.
Newham University Hospital NHS Trust is a 379-bed acute care facility based at Newham General Hospital in London. The Symbia S system features the company's high-definition detector, which provides a faster scan acquisition time with improved contrast resolution and lesion detection, according to Siemens.
