Zonare opens Nordic subsidiary

Ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems has opened a subsidiary, Zonare Medicinska System, in Stockholm, Sweden.

Gunnar Arveheim, formerly with ATL (Philips Medical Systems) and Acuson (Siemens Medical Solutions), will be managing director of the new business unit, which will serve Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark, according to the Mountain View, CA-based Zonare.
