Women's imaging vendor Hologic of Bedford, MA, said it has received Type Approval from the European Reference Organization for Quality Assured Breast Screening and Diagnostic Services (EUREF) for its Selenia digital mammography and SecurView systems.
EUREF, based in Nijmegen, Netherlands, is a voluntary certification program for quality assurance in mammography screening.
The Selenia and SecurView products will be used in the Flemish portion of the Belgium breast screening program, Hologic said.
