Swedish PACS and digital mammography vendor Sectra posted its first-quarter 2009 (end-July 31) financial results.
For the quarter, Sectra's medical systems division had net sales of $22.6 million (152.6 million kronor), a 12% increase compared to $20.2 million (136.2 million kronor) for the previous year during the same period. The Linköping-based company attributed the gain to an increase in direct sales of IT systems for the management of radiology images, PACS, and increased revenues from service and upgrade contracts.
