Nuance to expand in Swedish market

Nuance Communications of Burlington, MA, is increasing its presence in the Swedish healthcare IT market through its partnership with Max Manus of Oslo for hospitalwide implementations of speech recognition technologies.

The two companies have been implementing speech recognition products for healthcare providers in northern Europe, primarily in Norway and Denmark. In addition, Nuance plans to expand existing agreements with RIS vendors in the region.
