Dilon lands deal with Philips

Molecular breast imaging developer Dilon Diagnostics of Newport News, VA, has signed a distribution agreement with Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, covering markets in Europe and the Middle East.

Philips will distribute Dilon's 6800 breast-specific gamma imaging (BSGI) camera, designed to be used as an adjunct to mammography. Philips is demonstrating the system as a complement to its own women's health products at this week's European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) in Barcelona, Spain.
