Siemens Healthcare of Erlangen, Germany, has won its first contract to install its Definition AS+ CT scanner in Scotland, the company said.
Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Aberdeen will use Definition AS+ for head and body scans while the other CT at the hospital will be used solely for body scanning. The device also features Siemens' CARE Dose4D, an automated dose management system that adjusts tube current according to the anatomy of each patient, according to Siemens.
