Swedish image enhancement developer ContextVision has released its GOPView iRVPlus on a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) platform.
The Stockholm-based company's GOPView iRVPlus is designed for fluoroscopy procedures, such as angioplasty or stent replacement, during which real-time images are used to guide catheters to the target location.
GOPView iRVPlus enables a dose reduction of more than 40%, which minimizes both patient and medical staff exposure during a procedure, without having an adverse effect on image quality, according to ContextVision.
