Interventional technology firm Cook Medical has completed enrollment in an international clinical trial of its Zilver PTX drug-eluting peripheral stent.
The 420 patients enrolled in the randomized trial include patients with peripheral arterial disease treated in Germany, the U.S., and Japan, according to the Bloomington, IN-based firm. Cook said it has also enrolled an additional 780 patients from the European Union, Canada, and Korea in a clinical registry to evaluate the safety of Zilver PTX.
