Toshiba Medical Systems has been named as an event partner of the World Rugby Medical Commission Conference to be held in London on 14 and 15 November, the company said.
The company will support the conference through the exclusive partnership, which offers an opportunity for the leading physicians, independent medical experts, and unions in rugby to discuss the latest medical developments and identify best practices, Toshiba said.
The two-day conference at the Hilton London Metropole will focus on strategies for injury prevention and identifying areas for sharing knowledge to continue to make the game safer, Toshiba said.
The conference is a valuable forum for advancing player welfare and medical advancements, while sharing information from the wider world of sport and medicine, said World Rugby Chief Executive Brett Gosper.
