Digital x-ray developer Thales highlighted new flat-panel digital radiography (DR) detectors at last week's ECR 2016 in Vienna.
Pixium Rad 4343 C-E and G-E are designed for fixed radiography rooms and feature high image quality at a low radiation dose, according to the vendor. Thales also featured the combination of its Pixium Portable EZ technology with the ArtPix Mobile EZ2GO tablet, which enables technologists to take images in patient rooms and immediately view the clinical image, the firm said.
In dynamic imaging developments, Thales presented Pixium Surgical Imaging Suite, which combines Thales' flat-panel detectors and Imaging Chain Solution (ICS) technology for surgical C-arms into a compact system that provides sharp images for surgeons, according to the company. Thales also showcased version 1.09 of its Duet DRF acquisition and postprocessing workstation software for radiography, fluoroscopy, and angiography applications.
