PACS developer Sectra is showcasing its radiology informatics products and systems by clinical application at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) being held in Vienna this week.
Sectra is featuring a suite of products for diagnostic imaging, breast-specific imaging, the healthcare enterprise, and the referring physician.
Optimization for efficient RIS and PACS workflow is the focus of the diagnostic imaging suite. A kiosk for a patient to check in is being featured, as well as secure instant messaging. The company is also featuring its business intelligence software that monitors RIS/PACS production and performance, including statistics on workflow efficiency, system usage, and events such as image deletions.
For women's imaging, the breast imaging PACS and the Sectra OneScreen, an online-service assessing osteoporosis risk while a mammogram is being performed, are being featured.
Of special interest to the hospital enterprise is Sectra MEI, which offers cross-enterprise integration communication with any RIS or PACS. Web-based order management and iPad image viewing are designed to assist the referring physician. The company is also showing its Sectra Visualization Table, a 46-inch medical multitouch display.
