Image and data processing software developer Acceleware has launched its AxRecon image reconstruction software for the medical imaging, security, and nondestructive testing markets.
AxRecon works with existing conebeam CT scanners by hastening filtered back projection computations, according to the Calgary, Alberta-based firm. The technology enables medical users to accelerate the reconstruction of data and improve the quality of their images without disrupting current workflow, Acceleware said.
Acceleware will demonstrate AxRecon at this week's European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.
