Charité Berlin to host cardiac CT workshop

The department of radiology at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin plans to host a hands-on cardiac CT workshop in October.

The course will focus on combining imaging with clinical findings and is organized by the cardiovascular imaging group of the department of radiology at the Charité Medical School. Participants will use Charité's Aquilion One and Aquilion 64 CT systems (Toshiba Medical Systems), as well as its Definition Flash system (Siemens Healthcare) for patient examinations during the hands-on training, and will work in small groups to analyze the CT datasets.

The course will be held 18 and 19 October. It will cost 750 euros for specialists, attending physicians, and chief physicians, and 300 euros for residents, Charité said. Participants can register on the university's website.
