ESR plans for 2020 editorial fellowships

The European Society of Radiology (ESR) European Radiology Private Foundation has unveiled details of its Albert L. Baert Editorial Fellowship 2020.

The editorial fellowship is led by Prof. Yves Menu, editor in chief of European Radiology, and is designed to provide training in editorial skills that include publishing, manuscript evaluation, editing, and production, as well as organizing peer reviews.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a certified radiologist or senior resident
  • Be an active member of the ESR
  • Provide evidence of research and clinical activity in the field of radiology by listing first-author publications in a minimum of five PubMed-indexed articles

The ESR also prefers candidates who currently are in training or are younger than 33 years old.

The application for the fellowship is available online, and the deadline for applications is 15 November 2019.
