The European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) reported a total of 1,436 participants from 60 different countries at its 2018 annual meeting in Dublin.
This year's meeting featured seven parallel sessions per day, including lectures, postgraduate courses, case discussions, poster presentations, and scientific presentations. Dr. Luis Martí-Bonmatí, PhD, an AuntMinnieEurope.com Editorial Advisory Board member, received a gold award at the meeting.
The steady increase in conference attendance and ESGAR membership (currently at 2,478 members) signals continued growth in the coming years, according to the society. ESGAR 2019 is scheduled to take place from 5 to 8 June in Rome.
