The ESR and the Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention Society (MICCAI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize and deepen collaborations.
Through this agreement, the ESR and MICCAI will cooperate on a range of initiatives and engagement opportunities for their members, including joint scientific challenges, collaborative research projects, and educational events that bridge clinical practice with computational and machine-learning innovation.
Specifically, ESR experts will support the development of imaging-focused topics for MICCAI’s high-profile scientific challenges, with leading solutions invited to be presented at the ECR. The agreement establishes a three-year framework for cooperation, encouraging the continuous exchange of ideas, expertise, and educational resources between the radiological and computational imaging communities.
