The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) said Dr. Perry Pickhardt of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health will deliver the BIR/Canon Mayneord Memorial Lecture at the U.K. Radiological and Radiation Oncology Congress (UKRCO) on 2 July in Liverpool.
Pickhardt, a clinician, academic, and educator in gastrointestinal imaging, will lecture on the natural history of colorectal neoplasia. Founded in 1984 and sponsored by Canon Medical Systems, the BIR/Canon Mayneord Memorial Lecture is an annual award made to an individual or a group of collaborators in recognition of recent or current contributions in the field of radiology, according to the institute.
