France's national union of independent radiologists (Fédération nationale de médecins radiologues, FNMR) has met with Sylvain Chapuis, director general of France's national mutual insurance company for hospital workers (Mutuelle Nationale des Hospitaliers, MNH), after he joined the Numerix and Global Imaging On Line group, the union announced in a statement on 27 October.
Chapuis clarified the insurer's strategy for the years ahead with regard to imaging, and said he wanted to establish a constructive relationship with the FNMR.
The FNMR responded that it is prepared to exchange with MNH in the same way the radiology union is willing to exchange with any group associated with imaging. The union also underlined it would be particularly vigilant in matters concerning relations between the insurance company and radiological establishments.
