The Association of Healthcare Technology Providers for Imaging, Radiotherapy & Care (AXREM) in the U.K. has named Peter Harrison as its new chairperson for 2017-2018.
Harrison in currently the managing director for Siemens Healthineers. This will be Harrison's second period as chair of AXREM, the first being in 2007-2008. Since then he has continued to represent Siemens within this forum.
He joined Siemens Business Services in 1996 and transferred to head Siemens Healthcare Services in 2002. In 2004, he became responsible for Siemens' Imaging and Oncology U.K. business, and he assumed the role of managing director of Siemens Healthcare in 2012.
