The 6th Symposium Scanner Volumique will take place in Nancy, France, on 27 and 28 January 2014.
The multidetector CT (MDCT) meeting is directed at a French-speaking audience, but some international speakers will be present and French to English and English to French translation will be available, according to the symposium organizers.
Around 500 people are expected to attend the symposium.
The objectives include clarifying how to optimize image quality and dose exposure with new technical developments, determining how to attain the sub-mSv goal, clarifying the key factors to choose MDCT equipment, PACS, and an archiving system, and determining the effect of CT innovations on diagnostic strategies.
