U.K. RCR seeks new editor for Clinical Radiology

With Dr. Derrick Martin's four-year stint as editor of Clinical Radiology coming to a close in September 2014, the U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) has begun a search for his replacement.

Applications are now being accepted, and interested individuals should send a curriculum vitae (CV) plus the names of two references to Bethan France, publications officer, to arrive by 5 p.m. on 2 December. Applications can be made via email or by post to 63 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A 3JW, according to the RCR.

Interviews will then be conducted by a panel appointed by the board of the Faculty of Clinical Radiology in January, with an appointment to be made in time to allow the individual to work with Martin from June 2014 prior to taking up office in September 2014.

In other vacancies, the Faculty of Clinical Radiology is also inviting applications for two new members of its Scientific Programme Committee, which is responsible for designing and implementing the RCR's program of one-day meeting continuing professional development courses and the annual scientific meeting. Applications are being sought from consultants with the specialties of nuclear medicine/radionuclide radiology and pediatric radiology.

Applications for these positions should apply by email and include a copy of their CV and a covering letter outlining relevant experience for the attention of the dean of the Faculty of Radiology. The application deadline is 2 January 2014.
