With abstract submissions for the German Radiology Congress 2104 wrapping up in the next few days, the German Radiological Society (DRG) is calling for young investigators to consider submitting contributions for its Young Investigator Award -- three of which will be presented at the meeting to be held 28-31 May in Hamburg.
The awards, consisting of 500 euros each and limited to investigators 35 years or younger who are not team leaders, are even more valuable than the cash as additions to the winners' curriculum vitae, the society said in a statement.
Submissions will be evaluated by a jury of five internationally renowned scientists, who will evaluate the abstracts in terms of their innovation, impact, and manner of performance, as well as contributions of the author, the society stated. Applicants should submit their work through the congress website.
