The European Association of Echocardiography (EAE) has changed the name of its annual meeting, being held in Budapest, Hungary, from 7 to 10 December, to EuroEcho and Other Imaging Modalities.
The association, a branch of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), changed the name because the program will now also include MRI, CT, and nuclear imaging. Attendance at the meeting is expected to include 3,000 delegates representing cardiologists, internists, cardiac surgeons, and sonographers from 87 countries, according to ESC.
