Dr. Randall Johnson has been appointed professor in molecular biology at Stockholm's Karolinska Institute.
A leading scientist in molecular biology, and hypoxia in particular, Johnson will collaborate with top researchers at the institute. One of his main goals is to conduct an internationally competitive research project to study the mechanisms of hypoxia and their relations to the spreading of cancer at cellular level, according to a statement from Karolinska.
On his side, Johnson is looking forward to gathering additional insights in cellular mechanisms that help tumors grow.
