Siemens Healthcare has placed its Biograph mCT hybrid PET/CT system at the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre.
The facility is an independent medical charity based at Mount Vernon Hospital in London and now has four Siemens imaging systems.
Biograph mCT features combined applications to reduce exposure (CARE) to optimize image quality at the appropriate dose level and fully assisting scanner technologies (FAST) to automate complex procedures.
The system also has a 78-cm bore, short tunnel, and 227-kg table capacity for difficult-to-image patients.
