GE Healthcare has received the CE Mark for the latest version of its Vivid E9 cardiovascular ultrasound scanner, the company said.
Vivid E9 now features XDclear technology, which enhances image quality in 2D, 4D, color, and Doppler, and aims to shorten exam time and enhance diagnostic confidence in adult and pediatric echo labs, according to GE.
Other Vivid E9 upgrades include the new M5Sc-D probe, which offers enhanced sensitivity in color flow and Doppler, PolarVision stereo vision, which combines polarized stereo with depth rendering on a dedicated 3D monitor, and improved fetal heart imaging, GE said.
