PACS/RIS developer ClearCanvas has integrated productivity software from radiology software developer Blackford Analysis into its PACS and workstation offerings.
The Blackford software suite employs algorithms to provide automatic alignment of current and prior cross-sectional exams, including those from different modalities such as CT, MRI, and PET, ClearCanvas said.
The first integrated system is set to be installed in a hospital setting within the next few weeks, ClearCanvas said.
