Private healthcare service operators expect annual revenue growth at well over 10% for the next five years, according to a survey commissioned by Siemens Healthcare.
Research group Healthcare Business International surveyed 81 CEOs and chief experience officers (CXOs) in 37 countries and found they expect their companies to grow at an annual rate of 10.7% for the next five years, much higher than the 6.7% annual growth rate they predict for their market in general.
Projected growth was even higher in emerging markets, with executives in markets such as Chile and China expecting annual revenue growth of 14%, compared with overall market growth of 11.2%. The survey respondents included predominately big hospital chains, diagnostic labs, and imaging players, Siemens said.
