Affidea has appointed former Philips CEO Frans van Houten to its supervisory board as a nonexecutive member.
Van Houten spent nearly 30 years at Royal Philips as the company's CEO, leaving that position in 2022. He currently serves on the board of directors of Novartis.
The supervisory board includes representatives of parent company Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL), Affidea's management team, and former CEO Dimitris Moulavasilis, who joined as a non-executive director in 2022 and is the current CEO of Diaverum.
"I look forward to collaborating with the supervisory board and management team to unlock Affidea's complete growth potential," van Houten said in a company statement.
