University Medicine Essen's (U.K. Essen) prostate cancer center in Germany recently implemented the Xeos Aura 10 specimen PET/CT imager.
The center is the first to have access to the company's intraoperative specimen PET/CT technology, which enables surgeons to immediately view the resected tissue specimen during the surgical procedure, according to Xeos. The imager was installed in the prostate cancer center's urology department.
