Accuray has installed a second radiation therapy delivery system at the Oscar Lambret Center in Lille, France.
The installation of a second Radixact System is the fifth Accuray installation at the hospital from the company, the company said. In addition, the hospital has enhanced both Radixact Systems with the addition of the company's ClearRT Helical Fan-Beam kVCT Imaging and Synchrony technology, which are applications designed to improve treatment outcomes and versatility in the types of diseases that can be treated, the company said.
The Oscar Lambret Center is a long-term user of Accuray technology, having treated its first patients with the company's CyberKnife System in 2007.
