Medical device software provider BrainTale has received the CE Mark and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification for its brain quantitative measurement product brainQuant.
The software provides standardized quantification of white-matter microstructure from diffusion MRI after brain injuries like strokes. The application will be available within certified hospital centers, according to the company.
In other news, BrainTale is developing the software-as-a-service product brainScore. It combines brainQuant and artificial intelligence algorithms for predicting coma emergence for patients who have been admitted to intensive care units after experiencing severe traumatic brain injuries or cardiac arrest, the vendor noted.
