Siemens Healthineers has signed a 10-year, 40 million euro contract with Marienhaus Hospital Group from Waldbreitbach, Germany.
Through the partnership, Siemens will supply about 130 medical imaging devices in the states of North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland. Siemens will also provide personalized online training for clinical and technical staff at Marienhaus.
The goal of the contract is to improve patient care and streamline clinical processes at 18 Marienhaus hospitals. This includes modernizing the hospitals' radiology and advanced imaging systems and software.
Both Siemens and Marienhaus are responsible for managing the equipment, and an onsite manager with help with installation, maintenance, and training. The partners also have the option to extend the contract for another five years.
