Fujifilm Medical Systems and digital pathology provider Inspirata have agreed on a new commercial partnership through which Fujifilm will supply and service Inspirata's digital pathology software throughout the U.K.
Combining the digital pathology services of Inspirata with the healthcare IT services of Fujifilm presents National Health Service (NHS) providers with the option of a more longitudinal approach to patient care, according to the companies. The complementary nature of the vendor-neutral services may help bridge a technical gap between pathology and radiology in cancer care, they said.
